Londoner Gets Rid Of Man Boobs Without Linear Scar Using BodyTite™- By Dr U

Best Nonsurgical Gynecomastia Treatment Los Angeles: In silence, the patient struggled with his man boobs, also called moobs. It was an embarrassing topic to discuss, but when he took off his shirt, all could see his not-so-flat chest. He couldn’t get rid of his “moobs.”

Dieting and exercising didn’t help. It was mortifying. Man boobs, called gynecomastia in the medical lexicon, are a condition that affects the everyday man. In a lifetime, according to researchers, gynecomastia affects 30-35 percent of men (2).

Article Update July 2022:

What Causes Gynecomastia or Manboobs?

According to MayoClinic, gynecomastia is caused by an imbalance of estrogen and testosterone hormones [3]. It can affect one or both breasts, sometimes unevenly.

Additionally, men and boys with gynecomastia may sometimes experience pain in their breasts, which can cause concern or embarrassment.

If gynecomastia or manboobs persists, medication, surgery, or specific minimally-invasive procedures can help, as in the case of this patient below.

Before Image – London Patient Hates His “Man Boobs”

This patient from London sought the help of Dr.U to reduce the size of his male breasts. He did not want to take the traditional route of surgery which leaves behind linear scarring, since it requires using a scalpel to remove fat tissue. Dr.U offers a minimally invasive treatment modality called BodyTite, which uses a  form of energy called RFAL (radiofrequency assisted liposuction) to modify existing fat tissue within the upper chest regions. Here is a photo of the patient before his procedure with Dr.U.

This patient didn’t want to reduce the size of his male breasts. His primary objective, above and beyond this general aim, was to avoid being left with permanent linear scars.

In January, the patient traveled to the greater Los Angeles area to undergo his nonsurgical gynecomastia procedure. By using the radiofrequency in BodyTite™, Dr. Umar liquified some of the breast tissue and fat. Following liposuction, all the unwanted fat and glandular tissue were removed without surgical excision.

“The beauty of it,” Dr. Umar said during the procedure. “When it’s all said and done, [he’s not going to end up with] skin sagging because the radiofrequency wave makes the skin tight. The skin continues to tighten for three to six weeks to six months.”

By April, three months later, the patient saw the results he had hoped for. There was no scar, and his chest was flatter than a sheet of paper. Above all, he didn’t have to spend too much time waiting to heal. Once home, he quickly went back to his day-to-day routine.

FAQ – Gynecomastia

Is BodyTite™ a permanent solution, or like with surgery, will I have to get it done again?

BodyTite™ uses radiofrequency to contract fibers beneath the skin’s surface and improve the contours of target treatment areas. Although long-lasting, these effects may not be permanent depending on your physiology, genetics, and lifestyle habits. For example, weight gain, hormones, and dietary factors may reverse the effects of your procedure in a much shorter time frame.
