Low-Density Hair Restoration: Before Photos

Before turning to Dr. Umar, this patient opted for a strip hair transplant with another clinic. The procedure left the patient still bald and with a scar that limited his ability to keep a short haircut. Below are images showing the patient’s disappointing results from surgery with a different doctor.

The photos below show the extent of the patient’s baldness and scarring.

Using 1600 Grafts for a Low Graft Count Hair Transplant: Before and After Photos

After consulting with Dr. Umar, this patient opted for a Dr.UGraft hair transplant using 1600 head grafts.

Dr. Umar performed a hair restoration transplant using 1200  Dr.UGrafts harvested from the back of the head to give the patient a conservative natural-looking thinning hairline and front that would blend better with his bald crown. The trick in this frontal work is to increase density ever so slightly in a manner that transitions seamlessly to his still bald untouched crown. This calls for a subtle touch that Dr. U was able to deliver seamlessly.

Next, Dr. U used an additional 400 head grafts to conceal the scar left due to strip surgery. Because of cost concerns, the patient and Dr. Umar agreed to a low graft count hair transplant.

The images below show the patient’s results.
