Those beautiful, high and defining cheekbones of youth are a common midface feature lost to the aging process. Through non surgical cheek lift, you now have a safe, inexpensive, and non-invasive way to rejuvenate that depleted volume. The procedure achieves cheek augmentation with fillers like Radiesse and Restylane, resulting in a fuller and more defined midface area–along with overall lift to the face–in 30 minutes or less with no downtime.

- Fraction of surgery cost
- Much safer than surgical procedure
- Natural-looking results

Opting for filler injections in cheeks instead of an extensive surgery relieves the fear of scalpels and the anxiety of a poor outcome, while also providing the freedom of a “lunch hour” treatment. Due to the quick and nearly painless nature of the injections, you are able to drive yourself to and from the clinic, and even schedule your non surgical cheek lift procedure in between other commitments. You’ll see beautiful results immediately, without losing days or weeks to multiple consultations, preparations, and recovery; and without having to sacrifice valuable vacation time or miss work. Furthermore, at a dramatically lower cost than surgery, you save money–freeing you up to pursue additional filler procedures if desired, so you can achieve the most balanced, beautiful, and natural-looking restoration of youth.
What Causes Cheeks to Lose Volume and Why Fill Them?
Volume loss in cheeks happens naturally with the aging process. This is due to a depletion of density in the bone and muscle over time, as well as the weight of gravity pulling the fat and skin tissue downward. So when it comes to a youthful appearance, wrinkles, age spots, and hair loss, are not the only cosmetic concerns. Cheek augmentation with fillers restores the volume and buoyancy of midface tissue, which is a crucial and often overlooked area affecting much of the overall facial aesthetic. Adding plumpness to the cheeks not only fills this area of the face, it also naturally lifts and rejuvenates the surrounding problem areas, such as:
- Nasolabial folds
- Jowls
- Tear troughs/undereye bags
In that sense, non surgical cheek lift is also a preventative measure for sagging jowls, exaggerated pouching over the nasolabial folds, and hollowing or drooping of the lower eyelids.

Best Fillers for Cheeks
Radiesse
If you’re looking for a more contoured, structurally supported high-cheekbone appearance, Radiesse is the filler for you. The active ingredient in this thick gel compound is calcium hydroxyapatite, a tiny molecular component of our natural collagen and bone tissue. Thousands of these microscopic particles are injected into the exact area of need through this gel filler, taking on the shape that Dr. Umar immediately molds to best compliment your facial structure and restore a youthful appearance. Calcium hydroxyapatite serves as a lattice under the skin, as it activates and supports the growth of new collagen cells, while retaining a structure almost as solid as bone itself. Its technology to fortify structural cosmetic issues makes Radiesse one of the best fillers for cheeks.
The results of Radiesse last approximately 12 to 18 months.
Restylane
If you’re looking for a volume boost and for fuller, rounder, younger looking cheeks, Restylane is the filler for you. People who already have naturally high cheekbones might find that the depleted volume in the midface takes on a sunken look as they age. This facial structure benefits best from the hyaluronic acid component in Restylane. Hyaluronic acid is a sugar found naturally in our muscles, tendons, and joint fluid, however, the HA used in dermal fillers is lab-derived to curtail any risk of allergic reaction. This filler both attracts water molecules and binds to collagen and elastin fibers. As such, Restylane offers an intense and lasting hydration effect that restores lost volume and plumps the targeted tissue.
The results of Restylane last approximately 3 to 9 months.
Juvederm
Similar to Restylane, Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid based compound used in non surgical cheek lift. The difference is that Restylane is more gel-like while Juvederm has a more fluid consistency, making it a thinner filler. Juvederm may also last longer than Restylane before being broken down and metabolized by the body.
The results of Juvederm last approximately 6 to 9 months.

Using Radiesse, Restylane, or Juvederm is strategic choice mutually agreed upon by you and Dr. Umar, which will facilitate the best possible contour and achieve the appearance you desire.
What the Procedure Entails
After your complimentary consultation with Dr. Umar, at which time you will discuss your desired cosmetic outcome and any concerns, you will schedule your non surgical cheek lift procedure. Prior to the injection
of the filler, Dr. Umar will use a local anesthetic or numbing cream to reduce any pain. Once the Radiesse, Restylane or Juvederm is beneath the skin, he shapes the gel using his fingers to achieve the contour and lift previously decided. This is especially important for Radiesse fillers in cheeks, as the compound will take on a solid structure once molded. The entire procedure is normally finished in approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Results will be seen immediately; there is no downtime and no aftercare necessary for most patients.
How Long Do the Results of Cheek Augmentation with Fillers Last?
The results of cheek augmentation with fillers lasts anywhere from 3 to 18 months depending on the filler used, as specified above. The duration range for each type of filler depends on the individual and how quickly his or her body breaks down the compound.
There are some who perceive the temporary result of injectable fillers as undesirable, but our experience at Dr. U Skin Clinic has shown otherwise. Many of our patients have been best served by fillers due to lower risk of complication, freedom from risk of permanent error, and the ability to change or alter their look as the aging process inevitably continues. Additionally, though the procedure may yield a dramatic improvement, indications of a “lift” are typically subtle and the results are natural-looking. Having your dermal fillers reassessed and revisited every year or so allows your cheek lift to be customized to your facial structure as it ages, allowing you to maintain optimal cosmetic confidence and beauty.

Non Surgical Cheek Lift – Frequently Asked Questions:
If I get my cheeks filled will I also need to pursue jowl lift and/or filling or nasolabial folds?
This depends on the patient, stage of aging, and desired cosmetic result. It is possible that cheek lift alone will resolve the other surrounding problem areas. But in some cases, the surrounding areas also need filler. This will be assessed and discussed during your free consultation
How much bruising and swelling can expect after the procedure?
Bruising, redness, and swelling at the site of the injection tend to be minimal, if present at all. The same goes for any associated pain from the procedure. If you do see any discoloration or inflammation, it should resolve in a matter of hours or days. Cold compresses are recommended in these cases to help expedite healing.
Rejuvinating your youth is simple thanks to modern non-surgical cosmetic procedures like Radisse, Restylane, and Juvederm. To ask Dr. U about the possibility of undergoing treatment with the Dr. U Skin Clinic, feel free to click the button below:
